What is a symposium?
A gathering focused on a very specific topic, where experts present and discuss detailed research and findings.
On October 10, the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns & the Filipino Community Health Board will host a health symposium - a gathering of Filipino health professionals, students, health advocates, and interested community members.
This will be a space to discuss the health priorities of Filipinos in our region and how it also relates to back home in the Philippines.
Through this symposium, we aim to share learnings from past and current community health projects and campaigns, strengthen networks and connections, and bring attention and action to ongoing health advocacy efforts.
